Giving Tuesday Online
We have been selected as a special project by the University for Giving Tuesday 2022! Help us meet our goal of $5000 for a small scale renovation of some of the third floor study space. You can become a champion for the project on MaizeRaise (the Unviersity's corwdfunding site) and easily share to social media accounts.
Our UM-Flint students have asked for space they can reconfigure as they need, whether they are working in groups or reading on their own, featuring comfortable chairs and plenty of power outlets. Students who care for children–as well as our faculty, staff, and community members–have asked for furniture and materials that would allow them to visit the library and work alongside their loved ones. This Giving Tuesday project will help the library team show our users that we understand their needs, care about them, and we value and will respond to their requests.
If we meet half of our goal early in the day, the University will match the funds, so donate early and often!
