Sci-Finder Training Part 2 – Exploring Advanced Chemical Data, Patents, and Bio-Applications Online
Sci-Finder is the most current and reliable database for chemical substance information. Inform your critical research activities with authoritative details on chemical substances and their related chemical structures, chemical names, regulatory information, and properties. In this hybrid session taught by the Chemistry Librarian and Sci-Finder team, you will learn how to:
- Access material properties, safety, and regulatory information
- Search and interpret chemical patents to identify competitive technologies or protect intellectual property
- Leverage SciFinder’s bio-relevant tools to investigate drug metabolism, enzyme-catalyzed reactions, and biological targets – ideal for pharmaceutical development, toxicology studies, and biomedical research
We will cover general best practices and have time to address your specific questions.
