Sci-Finder Training Part 1 – Navigating Chemical Literature and Designing Reaction Pathways Online
Sci-Finder is the most current and reliable database for chemical substance information. Inform your critical research activities with authoritative details on chemical substances and their related chemical structures, chemical names, regulatory information, and properties. In this hybrid session taught by the Chemistry Librarian and Sci-Finder team, you will learn how to:
- Search chemical literature efficiently using SciFinder’s CAplus database, covering journals, patents, and chemical records;
- Find experimental properties and reactivity data for compound selection and synthesis planning;
- Design reaction pathways for molecules with specific characteristics.
We will cover general best practices and have time to address your specific questions.
