Odes to Flint, Michigan - And Beyond
The moedrn ode is a means of expressing praise or reflection for all manner of significant people, places, objects, and events.
Workshop: Carson will discuss her own ode-writing experience while guiding participants through several modern odes to place, with an eye toward how writing about a place can deepen one's understanding of the self and the world.
Free and open to the public. Refreshments provided.
